Kickboxing
Kickboxing is the ultimate workout! You’ll be blasting away fat, burning calories, and toning muscles you never knew you had in no time. Kickboxing is also one of the best stress relievers known to man. You can literally kick and punch your problems away.
During your 1st class with us we will have an instructor dedicated to you so that you can learn at your own pace. We promise to have you Jab-Crossing and Round kicking like a pro within the hour!

Muay Thai
Muay Thai is the Art of Eight Limbs. Using Knees, Elbows, Punches, and Kicks it’s one of the most recognized combat sports in the world.
It may be a deadly art but we are here to teach in a safe and fun enviornment including pad holding, technique drills, and sparring. It’s a great way to get in shape and learn self defense.

Kung Fu
We train two styles of Kung Fu…. Wing Chun & Choy Lay Fut. Wing Chun is a close range combat style and CLF is a longer range style that punches like boxers and kicks like Muay Thai. CLF also has a variety of hand forms and weaponry.
In modern day we use Kung Fu to sharpen the mind as well as the body. In each class we work on forms — a pattern of movements to be practiced in order. The forms teach you the foundations of the style.
We also work on self defense techniques, which in Kung Fu can range from hand and leg strikes to throws and takedowns.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was invented to be the best form of self defense in the world. It has grown since to be an amazing workout, great way to meet new people, and the best community!
BJJ will help you clear your mind. An hour of class will have you focusing on your new technique and forgetting about the stress of life!
The ability to leverage your opponents strengths against them is what makes Jiu Jitsu significantly easier to learn than the rest.

Myself and kids have been members of JWMA for 4 years now. . My wife and myself always say that bringing our kids here has been one of the best decisions we have made for our children.. We really don’t know what we could do without the availability of this virtual school version of JWMA.

Master John Wai is an excellent teacher. He keeps martial arts simple and easy to understand. On top of that the staff makes every class exciting! Weather I’m doing a virtual class or in person, I always feel the burn!

I’m really impressed as to how the team at John Wai Martial Arts has stepped up to help train and motivate members during this pandemic. Our kids love the online kung fu classes while my wife and I take advantage of the morning burn and overdrive classes (with some striking classes periodically). I highly recommend that they sign up for John Wai Martial Arts online courses. Well worth the investment!

I love this place. Great instructors, with years of knowledge and training! They are patient and will work with all levels to help you achieve your goals. Updated 4/15/2020: Even now, during quarantine, the instructors are working extra hard to keep our goals alive, by going live and recording their live sessions. They are truly committed in helping us stay fit and sane through this crisis. A true family!

I can not say how much I love JWMA, I had been searching for a place to start kickboxing close to home and found them. Everyone who works there has amazing energy and they are all wonderful people. Now we are doing online classes do to covid and they are still of high quality. Can’t say enough, if you’re looking for a place to work out, feel comfortable and have a fun time this is the place to go, so glad I started!
